The rain garden demonstration site at the Middlesex County Extension Center in Haddam (CLEAR and NEMO’s home-base) was installed in May 2012. It was originally installed to be featured in two new NEMO projects, a smartphone application and a “how to” rain garden website, both now complete. The two projects focus on helping people easily create both a beautiful and functional rain garden on their own through a simple step-by-step process.
This past spring we thought it would be interesting to create a time lapse video showing the garden’s 2014 growing season. We took 2-4 photos a week over a 6-month period, and put them all together to create the following video. We plan to continue taking photos throughout the winter and possibly through the 2015 growing season.
