Rain Garden Design, Installation, and Maintenance Course

Description: This course is designed to provide guidance on how to properly site, size, install, and maintain rain gardens. Rain gardens are one type of “green” stormwater infrastructure, which is an alternative to traditional “grey” stormwater infrastructure such as catch basins and pipes. Rain gardens help to reduce the impacts of our developed areas on downstream water bodies. There are 7 modules to be viewed at your own pace, with practice quizzes on the material for each module. 

Who should take this course: landscapers, contractors, public works directors & staff, others interested in rain garden design, installation and maintenance

Format: Online, at your own pace. 7 modules with module quizzes and final course exam. 80% or higher on final exam will earn a course completion certificate.
