We tested the interactive map on Macintosh using Netscape Navigator and it worked. A user reported trouble when the map was viewed using Internet Explorer on a Macintosh. The following error was returned "Internet Explorer not supported on the Macintosh." If you are a Mac user, try downloading Netscape http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/download.jsp. Q. Why doesn't the BACK button work in the browser of my Interactive Map? A. We customized a commercially-available software called ArcIMS and the only solution we have seen is to automatically hide the toolbar when the Interactive Map page is opened. If we find some time and money, we will try to implement this feature. In the meantime, avoid the back button. Q. What software is behind the Interactive Map? A. The software is called ArcIMS and is a product of ESRI. |
