1. Choose Town Base Map
A good base map is important to provide context for all the natural resource and other information that you want to include in your CRI. The simplest base map, shown here, consists of town boundaries only. Other base maps can include orientation elements such as roads, railroads and major water features (this option is provided, top right). Other data layers appropriate for a base map, depending on its use, are aerial imagery or topographic maps. |
