CLEAR as Art

CLEAR uses remote sensing imagery and land cover maps to study the changing landscape of Connecticut and to provide this important information to the state's communities and interest groups. The informational value of these maps doesn’t blind us however to the aesthetic value of the geographic data itself. Below is a gallery of screen captures depicting various land cover maps and remotely sensed images that were chosen by CLEAR staff for their visual interest and/or beauty rather than for their research-based or educational value.
