NOTICE: We are aware of difficulties some users are having with viewing our imagery through their web browser. This is likely due to compatibility issues with older versions of the ECW web plugin, which is neccessary to view the imagery in either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. We have found that by updating the ECW plugin, most issues are resolved. In addition, the imagery can be viewed through your ArcMap desktop application. As with the web browser, updated ECW plugins must be installed on your computer. To update your ECW plugins, please follow the directions provided here.

Through the collaborative efforts of the Connecticut Departments of Transportation, Environmental Protection and Public Safety; the Federal Highway Administration; and the Center for Land Use Education and Research, a statewide mosaic of the new 0.8 foot resolution orthophotos can now be viewed on line. Special thanks is due George Davis, ERMapper, for creating the compressed statewide mosaic, which is being served using ERDAS's Image Web Server technology. To view the ortho imagery in Internet Explorer or Firefox, make sure you have the latest ECW Web Plugin installed click here. You also can view the imagery using ArcMap, but you will need to download and install an ECW plug-in from here.
